Poll Results: What’s the Best Tablet Size?
10-inch Tablets are Preferred Over 7-inch
This week, we posed a question to everyone on Facebook about what they think is the ideal size for a tablet. We used two popular dimensions, the 7- and 10-inch tablets. A majority of you, almost two-thirds, said they prefer a 10-inch tablet. Looks like we have some iPad lovers out there!
- Bud told us, “more real-estate is always better.”
- Ryan said, “actually the ideal size for me was somewhere in the middle 8.9.”
- Terryl said, “10 for sure. 7 is like a big smart phone not really the right size for a tablet.”
The Tablet Wars
The iPad is, of course, the most popular 10-inch tablet (9.7 to be exact). The Microsoft Surface tablet, which was unveiled in June, has a 10.6-inch screen. Other 10-inch tablets include the Asus Transformer Pad and the Verizon Motorola Xoom. Popular 7-inch tablets include the Kindle Fire, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and the recently released Google Nexus 7.
Apple has dominated the tablet market, but with the recent hype around the Nexus 7 and Microsoft Surface, it’s hard to say how this will affect the market for Apple, Amazon and others.
Take Your Pick – Mount Your Tablet

You all have unique tastes and we respect that. That’s why we offer a variety of tablet mounts, so take your pick! Don’t forget our headrest mounts, which are great for entertaining the kids (or you) in the backseat.
