Post CES 2017 Wrap-Up ProClip USA
The ProClip USA booth at CES 2017 was a huge success. CES (Consumer Electronics Show) the nation’s largest tradeshow held in Las Vegas, Nevada has grown by leaps and bounds spanning nearly 2.5 million square feet and expanding to new hotels on the infamous Vegas Strip. Located in the North Hall for the third straight year, ProClip USA saw double-digit growth in visitors and foot traffic hoping to see the latest in mobile mounting solutions. Visitors were encouraged to sign the ProClip Wall of Fame and share their experience with ProClip on social media.

Goodbye CES 2017

CES was open to the public from Thursday, January 5th to Sunday, January 8th. This was the first year that CES has included a weekend in its schedule. There were 9 keynote speakers spanning the 4-day conference and over 4,000 companies that had their own show booth. Richard Yu, CEO of Consumer Business Group Huawei, discussed the future of cell phone technology in his keynote address. Carlos Ghosn, CEO of Nissan Motor Corp gave out some details regarding the next-generation Nissan Leaf in his riveting keynote.

For ProClip USA, the trade show season is just beginning, but CES 2017 is by far the crown jewel of the year. Debuting the latest custom and adjustable holders for both iPhone and Android, ProClip is promoting compatibility with the top cell phone case brands in the industry. “Universal mounting solutions are the hot demand in our industry for 2017,” said Don Rankin, COO ProClip USA. “3 out of 4 mobile phone users have a case to protect their smartphone and ProClip has a solution to mount their case protected phone.”

CES 2017 – What Was Trending?

The trendiest items of CES 2017 were the electric vehicles and the up and coming case brand manufacturers. Faraday Future, the electric vehicle manufacturer based in California, was the hit for the second year in a row, debuting a self-driving prototype to rival car makers like Tesla and Lamborghini. Mobile phone case brands are a dime a dozen, but a few companies stood out to us at CES 2017 – Sonix, i-Blades and RhinoShield. We tested these cases in our universal holders for fitment. Check out our article on New Phone Cases at CES 2017 to see which universal, adjustable car mounts we recommend. We can’t wait to see what’s next at CES 2018. Stay tuned!
