8K 3D Camera in a Smartphone

The camera technology in our smartphones continues to get better and better! RED is making an 8K 3D camera for their upcoming, but unreleased, Hydrogen One smartphone. The phone’s holographic display will act as the viewfinder for two 4K cameras that will be synced together. The phone will then be able to upload your video directly to YouTube or Facebook.

Jaguar Provides the Royal Treatment

The Royal Wedding got more than just pop culture fanatics excited. After the conclusion of the wedding, Prince Harry and Meghan drove away in a stylish, one-of-a-kind electric Jaguar concept car. The Jaguar E-Type Concept Zero is a restored electric version of a 1968 classic. The convertible can hit 60 mph in just 5.5 seconds and a range of 170 miles. This gives us an exciting look into the future of Jaguar’s plans to have a full lineup of electric cars and hybrids by 2020.

Releasing the OnePlus 6

This week, we also saw the release of the OnePlus 6 smartphone. Known for offering great phones at an affordable price, this phone does not disappoint. With a $529 price tag, you’ll get a 6.2-inch screen, dual main-cameras AND a headphone jack!  Stay tuned for an unboxing next week!

Siri Gets Smarter

Finally, Apple filed a patent that shows Siri providing automated custom responses to incoming texts and calls. These responses are based on your location or if Do Not Disturb is enabled. The feature would allow Siri to communicate for you while driving. The assistant could provide an ETA, your location and more, allowing for a safer driving experience.
