The LG G Flex is a refreshing change to the standard form factor we’ve grown to expect in a smartphone. The G Flex has a curved back; just enough to sit nicely in your hand and to frame your face when talking on the phone. The curve is top to bottom, unlike the Samsung Galaxy Round, which arcs from left to right.
Flexible Display
As the name suggest, the phone is flexible, at least to an extent. With pressure, the phone can be flattened out, but it will return to its original curved shape once the pressure is lifted. However, it’s safe to say the device isn’t meant to be bent with extreme pressure.
Self-Healing Exterior
Another neat feature is the self-healing back. The coating used on the back can help get rid of scratches and small marks that are common on case-less smartphones.
Other LG G Flex Specs
The G Flex also features a large 1280×720 pixel screen. While the average smartphone screen size keeps increasing, with a 6-inch display, the G Flex is still sitting on the large end of the spectrum. It has a flexible 3,500mAH battery, 2GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage (no external), a 13MP rear camera and 2.1MP front-facing camera. It comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
Some other features include the “knock-on” feature we saw on the LG G2 and a new dual-screen mode. You can run two apps at one time, drag and drop between the two screens and resize/flip the screens however you’d like.
LG G Flex Phone Holders
We have three LG G Flex holders, all compatible with the curved display. Choose between a cigarette lighter plug or straight power cord for charging holders or get the standard LG G Flex holder with tilt swivel.
