Samsung Brings 5G to A Series Phones

Samsung announced today that their midrange lineup of smartphones, the Galaxy A series, will be available in the United States and making 5G more affordable than ever. The A Series consists of six different devices, with two of the phones offering 5G compatibility.

A Galaxy for Everyone

The Galaxy A series has been one of the most popular phone lineups throughout the world. The U.S. launch of the 2020 A series starts with the availability of the Galaxy A01 and A51 on April 9 on Samsung.com. Later this summer, Samsung will launch additional devices, including the Galaxy A11, A21, A51 5G and A71 5G, each packed with pretty impressive specs

Samsung Galaxy A01

Starting at just $109.99, the Galaxy A01 is the most affordable of the A series lineup. For the price, consumers will get a 5.7-inch display and a 3,000 mAh battery. The phone won’t turn any heads, but is more than enough to get you through the day.

Samsung Galaxy A11

For a little bit more money, the Galaxy A11 offers a 6.4-inch display, an additional ultrawide lens and a 4,000 mAh battery. The A11 will be available later in the summer at $179.99.

Samsung Galaxy A21

The A21 steps up the specs even more by adding a quad-camera and 15W fast charging support for a 4,000 mAh battery. It will be available later in the summer at $249.99

Samsung Galaxy A51

Delivering amped up performance, the A51 features an impressive 6.5-inch AMOLED display, a 48MP main camera lens, has a 4,000 mAh battery, 4GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The A51 will be available on April 9 for $399.99. Later this summer a 5G enabled version will be available starting at $499.99.

Samsung Galaxy A71 5G

The most powerful of the A series, the A71 features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a quad-camera system with a 64MP main lens, and can be expanded up to 1TB of storage with a microSD card. The A71 is ready for 5G speeds and will be available later this summer for $599.99.
