2022 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro
Several high-profile car review sites and top-level YouTube channels are getting the 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro to drive and review. While it’s technically still a prototype, the final version of the Tundra will likely be similar in design, price and specs. The 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro is putting down 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque from a Hybrid 3.5L Twin Turbo V6. Like the competition, Toyota is slowly moving away from the powerful V8 engine to focus on hybrid engines with better fuel economy. Preliminary testing is showing an average of 44 mpg and you can pick up this TRD next year for around $50,000 USD.
Exterior and Interior
For the past 15 years, the Tundra exterior has pretty much been the same. The same story is true for the interior remaining the same for the past 8 years. But now the 2022 TRD Pro gets an all-new look both inside and out. The exterior features 18-inch BBS TRD wheels, off-road suspension FOX shocks, TRD aluminum skid plate, camo fender flares and the TRD special edition color, Solar Octane. The interior features a brand-new dashboard and a massive 14-inch audio multimedia touchscreen. Wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto is another exciting infotainment feature.
