Top Phone Cases at CES 2017
We’ve been having a great time so far at the 50th anniversary of CES. This year we are showcasing our iPhone holders, Samsung phone holders, and popular B2B mounting solutions. However, we are also enjoying the opportunity to check out the latest and greatest innovations from other exhibitors. The auto tech at CES has been great; Faraday Future has been the hit of the show! Mobile cases have also been high on our list to scope out, and we’ve selected our top mobile phone case brands from CES 2017. Take a look below!
The uniVERSE Case System is an all-in-one case that allows you to turn your phone into a pro camera, sound system, credit card reader, and more. The case itself deflects drops and forms the foundation for connecting the various modules, including a Polar Pro Pulsar Bluetooth Speaker and Square Chip Reader.
As we’ve come to expect from OtterBox, the case is well-built to protect your phone in any situation. OtterBox boasts putting the case through 24+ torture tests and over 238+ hours in the lab to ensure it meets the OtterBox Certified Drop+ Protection. If that sounds pretty cool, it should. This case won a 2017 CES honoree product award.
The Presidio Show is the latest iPhone case from Speck. The case is clear and designed to match the colors of Apple iPhone 7, 7 Plus, 6s, and 6s Plus. The initial design was made to show off the glossy finish of the Jet Black iPhone. Gold, rose gold, and silver versions will be available soon. It’s not only intended for looks but also device protection. Speck says the case will protect from drops up to 10 feet, which is not common to find in a clear case.
The Seidio Surface is a slim 2mm case. It has a polycarbonate exterior with a soft-touch coating and a TPU inner layer to add an extra layer of protection. Hexguard™ Technology on the inside of the TPU layer helps to absorb and disperse shock on impact. The case also features cutouts and button covers to increase protection and a kickstand with magnetic closure.
UAG, which stands for Urban Armor Gear, has a new line of iPhone cases called the Monarch series. These heavy-duty cases are touted as meeting double the Military Standard for drop and shock protection with 5 layers of protection. Monarch series cases were able to endure 52 drops from 4 feet with no damage, but just in case, a 10-year warranty is included. Cases are made of top grade leather and alloy metal hardware, and they feature a lightweight construction with impact-resistant core and honeycomb traction grip. Monarch cases are available for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, and iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
