Audi GLOSA Green Light System
On a mission to make your commute quicker and more enjoyable, the Audi Green Light Optimization Speed Advisory System can help you save on fuel and avoid red lights. Available on most 2019 Audi models, the green light system calculates its recommendation by using 4G LTE cellular data to consider the distance to the next stop light. GLOSA could also help autonomous cars boost speed and decrease time spent in traffic. Will other vehicle manufacturers green light this project in 2020?
Star Wars Project Porg
Did you buy the Magic Leap VR Headset? With only a few months before the May 4th Holiday, super fans of Star Wars can raise their own family of Porg birds with a free download of Star Wars: Project Porg created by Lucasfilm’s ILMxLAB. A consumer version of the Magic Leap One is slated to arrive soon hopefully before Star Wars Day in May 2019. Are you a fan of the Porg from Stars Wars: The Last Jedi?
Nissan EV Battery Recycle
Pioneered by Nissan, EV battery recycling will provide after life power to camping trailers made by Opus. Pulled out of first generation Nissan EV’s, battery cells are repackaged into a cube device called the Roam. With 700Wh of electric storage, Roam can power small appliances and the onboard lights and heating system in the trailer. More electric vehicles on the road means more battery power to be recycled and put to good use.
