HTC Desire 500 Car Phone Mounts
The HTC Desire 500 is a budget minded phone that packs in fewer features than HTC’s flagship One model, but with a significantly smaller price tag.
Originally released in Taiwan, the smartphone has since moved to Europe at a price of £199. Unlocked models are available in the US between $250 and $350.
The Quad-core 1.2 GHz processor provides a decent performance speed. The phone comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, which is dated at this point. Storage space is also less than ideal, at 4 GB internal storage and 1 GB RAM. However, there is a miscroSD card slot for external storage up to 64 GB.
The screen is 4.3 inches, but at only 480 x 800px, the picture quality is low (217ppi). The 8 MP camera is decent for a budget phone, and while the exterior doesn’t measure up to the sleek design of the HTC One, it is still stylish. It comes in 3 color options: white/red, white/blue and all black.
