Google Maps applications already exist on the iPhone, Windows Phone and Android platforms. The Google maps application uses the data connection either through WIFI or your cellular data connection for map browsing, location and directions.

However, now Google announced that they are entering the Mobile Turn by Turn navigation with voice guidance for mobile phones. Starting with the Android 2.0 platform. The name is going to be Google Maps Navigation. Rumors are that Windows Phone platform application is in developments as well.

The videos below will outline nicely what feature Google Maps Navigation will have.

The last video will show the car dock mode for this application. Of course we at ProClip USA will do our best to provide the best in-vehicle solution for you to use Google Maps Navigation on your device.

Last week Microsoft with its carriers released the first devices worldwide with the new Windows Mobile 6.5 operating software. As part of their new strategy they are adding a new term to all the phones that will be operating on the Windows Mobile Operating systems.

The new term that you will see is: "Windows Phone". All these phones will be recognizable now with a Windows Logo on the Home Button for these phones. As seen on the image on the side, the new AT&T Pure and Tilt 2 Respectively the HTC Touch Diamond2 and the HTC Touch Pro2. The AT&T Pure was released yesterday with the New Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system.

The home screens on these HTC devices are running the HTC Touch Flo. However the new Windows Mobile 6.5 also has a great new finger friendly home screen and menu structure that will let you navigate and operate the Windows Phone with ease.

With the Windows Phone Launch by Microsoft, they also promised that 30 Windows Phones will be released by the end of this year running the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating software.

If you are due for an upgrade or replacement we would recommend looking seriously at the full capacity these Windows Phones.

ProClip USA is in the process of making new holders for the HTC Touch Pro 2 & the HTC Touch Diamond 2 (AT&T Pure).  Please stay tuned for more updates on ProClip USA solutions
