MobilityMinded.com reviewed the new iPhone Navigon Navigation software using the newly designed ProClip Brodit holder for the iPhone 3G(S).
This new design of the iPhone holder has the following improved features:
- In this new design the cable exits on the back of the holder for a cleaner look and installation.
- You can choose to connect the cig-plug to the vehicle's 12volt socket or the USB cable to the USB connector in the vehicle.
- You can securely use your iPhone in horizontal position with the added bracket. Ideal for using Navigation software in horizontal view.
- It is also padded for scratch protection.

This holder is available at ProClip USA and is compatible with the iPhone 3G and 3GS.

This week, TomTom and Navigon announced that they will soon have a navigation application available for the iPhone.
With the GPS stand alone units being saturated in the market, the major navigation software companies are going back to the mobile phone users. By installing the navigation software, on the mobile phones, it will allow you to get the same experience as with the stand alone navigation units.
With the ProClip Brodit (charging) holder you will have your device charged safely in reach. No more suction cups on your windshield!
